One of the biggest surprises this year was that a picture of mine has been accepted for the UKCPS exhibition in Birmingham.
I am really pleased about that.
I am working hard at the moment to complete the set of drawings I would like to enter for the Todmorden Art Group's November
exhibition. We often visit Whitby and were there earlier this year on a beautiful day and decided to visit the Abbey grounds.
I came home armed with a set of photographs which fired my enthusiasm and prompted me to sharpen a few pencils! I have
also had information about an exhibition at Carlton Church in Halifax organised by the Rotary Club.
With these projects and bookings being made for craft fairs at North Halifax and Ravenscliffe Schools and and
a forthcoming stall at Clayton Dickensian market in December, life is getting quite busy.
